It's this time of the year once again. The MS Toga Party is going to take place tomorrow (Saturday, April 19) at 7pm UK time to support all those people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and raise awareness towards the disease. Gamers Giving Back are putting all of their effort to help those in need by hosting various charity events and this is one of those.

The event itself is going to be held both in the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2, with lots of activities planned for those present to take part in. So, be sure to be there, support the cause and enjoy your time spent with your fellow players.

Tyria has changed, I can feel it in the air, I can taste it in the water. After the victory over Zhaitan, nature’s elements had calmed down for a while but as it appears, this didn’t last long. I sense the earth tremble, the air crushing me as it engulfs me in its frozen embrace. The water in the rivers and lakes has a sickening taste. The energy that nurtures life on this world, is burning my insides. Every now and then a dark force jumps up from the abyss to haunt me and each time I look in its depths it instills its darkness inside me, slowly filling me with hatred and repulsion. It is as if my own soul gradually fades and I’m left hollow inside, leaving me a mere shadow of my former self. A ghost wandering in the darkness.

I’d like to keep this announcement short.

That is, most of all, because I’m the kind of person that tends to get rather emotional when the time comes for farewells.

Dragon Season’s staff came together a couple of days ago to discuss our future plans. The decision was mutual. We resolved to move the guild back to Guild Wars 1 and repurpose our fan site so that it caters more to the needs of those that deal with the first title of the franchise.

Hello everybody.

It’s your friendly neighborhood Tilion.

This time around I’m here to spread the word about two events that are just around the corner. Lots of work and passion have gone into them and I’d be happy to see them embraced by the community on its whole.

The aim of this article is to present an attempt at creating a GW2 character which will resemble, to the greatest possible degree, a typical MMO Cleric. My experience with the game so far tells me that the two most suitable professions for this purpose are the Guardian and the Elementalist. I shall start with the former since it's the profession of my main character and I reckon I know it best :-)

Hello everybody!

Today, I’m here to present you what I like to call “the best source of Guild Wars 2 news in the entire internet”. It is reliable, fast and flexible, totally community driven and depended. Ladies and Gentlemen, I introduce you to our brand new “News” section.

So, I’ve been doing this twitter thing for quite a while now. Instead of promoting exclusively Dragon Season projects, what I like to do is letting everybody know of what the community of the game is up to on its entirety. Be it articles, fan art, in-game events, and of course official news, I’m trying not to miss a single thing.

About 2 or 3 weeks ago I started to raise my Artificer crafting discipline in hopes that I would some day craft a super ascended Staff for my promising mesmer. Following step-by-step the amazing guide on gw2crafts I got to 400 in no time (the going gets tough just about then, but that's for another article to deal with ;-)). Something that impressed me in the entire process is the number and variety of Potions an Artificer can concoct. Literally, there's a potion suitable for encountering any type of enemy: anti-Centaur, anti-Svanir, anti-Ooze, anti-Ogre, anti- anti- anti-anything. However their use is not limited to extermination amplifiers. Their most spectacular application is no doubt the numerous transformations they inflict on their consumer! These are accomplished by a sub-category of potions, called Tonics. In this article then I decided to go into tonics as well as the effects of their consumption on your stomach, your appearance and to those around you ;-)
