About 2 or 3 weeks ago I started to raise my Artificer crafting
discipline in hopes that I would some day craft a super ascended Staff
for my promising mesmer. Following step-by-step the amazing guide on
gw2crafts I got to 400 in no time (the going
gets tough just about then, but that's for another article to deal with
;-)). Something that impressed me in the entire process is the number
and variety of Potions an Artificer can concoct. Literally, there's a
potion suitable for encountering any type of enemy: anti-Centaur,
anti-Svanir, anti-Ooze, anti-Ogre, anti- anti- anti-anything. However
their use is not limited to extermination amplifiers. Their most
spectacular application is no doubt the numerous transformations they
inflict on their consumer! These are accomplished by a sub-category of
potions, called Tonics. In this article then I decided to go into tonics
as well as the effects of their consumption on your stomach, your
appearance and to those around you ;-)

If you're a longtime Guild Wars player, you may have already heard about Pink Day in LA in the past or maybe even participated.
In short, this is a community-driven charity event that has been taking place in Guild Wars/Guild Wars 2 every year since 2007. The goal of this event is to raise awareness of (breast) cancer and collect donations for the Canadian Cancer Society. You can find all the important information in a nutshell in Rhonda's post on the official GW2 forum. This year, Pink Day in LA will take place on October 19, 12-6pm Central. Find your local time here in case those time zones are confusing, as they usually are. ;)

After making a little detour in the living story to Moto's Super Adventure Box and defeating (or being defeated by) Tequatl, Scarlet is back and fighting for our attention again. She has set up a base in Twilight Arbor and it's up to our characters to shoo her away. As usual, we do not know what exactly she wants or plans, but it is pretty clear that whatever it is, we need to stop her from achieving her goal.
This new patch will introduce a new path for Twilight Arbor. The most important part first, in case you are wondering: Yes, this path will be a permanent addition! Unlike the other paths of Twilight Arbor, this one will be not for levels 55 up, but for level 80 only. The new path won't be the fourth path of the Twilight Arbor dungeon. Instead, it will replace the Forward/Up one. Don't worry about the related dungeon path achievement, though. If you have beaten the Forward/Up path before, then that achievement will stay the way it is.

The purpose of this
guide is to help you get the ‘Major in Achievement’, which is the
meta-achievement for the ‘Back To School’ release. It is a step-by-step
walkthrough, similar to the one
I posted for the (original) Super Adventure Box back in April. I should give
you a fair warning though: it will take you time and dedication and perseverance to
get these 13 achievements! But the rewards are worth it: 66 precious
achievement points, the Title of “Honors
in Applied Jumping” and a fancy Storm
Wizard’s Backpack Cover (special 8-bit edition)!

I was going to post about something completely different – I had finished writing and translating it and everything really - but then THIS comes out
and everything else suddenly seems so unimportant! ArenaNet’s reply to people asking, begging and crying for craftable Legendaries is… craftable Ascended Weapons
! Not quite the same, of course, but is it necessarily worse? Let’s have a assiduous look at what it’s all about and find out. As an example I shall use the very weapon that developer Linsey Murdock demonstrated in the video
– the brand new and purply ‘Wupwup Claymore (Ascended)’ greatsword.

Hey guys! Been working on my first recipe for the blog this past week, and boy has it been tasty. I won't lie, I had a lot of fun in my "test kitchen" haha! First was deciding what to make and that was the easy part. Omnomberry bars. Well, thing is Omnomberries don't exist so, what could I make that would bring the spirit of the Omnom to life? Well I know what that is for me...and I hope it is for you too!
Before I get right to it, I thought I would share something with you guys about me and why I love cooking so much. My grandma. Specifically my paternal grandmother. She was an excellent baker and cook. In fact, back in the day we would wait not so patiently as an entire clan for her cinnamon rolls, cookies, food or whatever it was she was making on a weekly basis. A few of us still have her recipes around (I for one figured most of them out on my own) but mostly my aunts now keep the tradition with thier own families. That tradition and modifying the recipes to my taste just a tad has been so much fun and I love cooking and baking for friends and family regularly. By the way, I will share the cinnamon roll recipe at some point but I am keeping that under my hat for now...cuz seriously can't let that go...and I can't have you all banging down my door at the same time LOL!

It’s been long and of course I know that you’ve not missed me at all. Even though this has been a rough week for me and these news may show up kinda late over here, I cannot abandon my duty, simply due to always being faithful at your service.
As far as I would love to comment on everything while presenting every tiny bit of information, I think I would have to pass. You know, sometimes, it may kinda feel like a pretty easy procedure to write something down for your blog. Covering two lingually separated communities though, skimming through both articles during the editing process and ensuring that the whole thing is well presented, makes the idea of keeping a strict schedule somewhat fragile. That is especially when you are not privileged with having access to such precious stuff beforehand, in order to preview it for the general public. So, what I’m going to do today is showcase a couple of links that should be visited by all of you, if you want to keep track of what’s coming up next for our favorite game.
Keeping this in mind, and without further ado, let’s move on to the presentation.
