The 2nd Feature Patch, gone live on September 11, 2014, introduced Collections, among other things. These are ArenaNet’s way of rewarding both old and new players for their dedication, persistence and methodicality in their playstyle. Almost anything that finds its way to your pockets, should you turn it ‘account bound’ it will earn you Achievement Points (APs). From armor and weapon skins, either dropped, purchased or crafted, to junk loot and spoons (yes, spoons!) – everything counts towards one Collector category or another!

In this article I will present a different approach to earning those APs. My guide is based exclusively on dulfy.net. What I have done with it is to categorize the various items across all collections based on the area (map) they are found. This way one can conviniently pick any one specific map and make a very fast and profitable tour through it! Let’s see how it works then, shall we?

Season 1 finale left behind it tons of rubble: the city of Lion's Arch in ruins along with the lives of its citizens and dust covering aions-long history. People were put in prison (Canach), others broke out of it (Mai Trin), or were left for dead -both anonymous and famous ones (Garrot Ambercowl, Theo Ashford, Scarlet Briar)- while countless were forced to abandon their homes, from the Shiverpeaks to Kryta. Unravelling this skein also brought to the stagelight new characters, heros-to-be, who kept us company in this adventure and whom we shall have on our side again, no doubt, in the coming season: Braham Eirsson, Rox Pickheart, Taimi & Scruffy, Ellen Kiel & Evon Gnashblade, Marjory Delaqua & Kasmeer Meade. The lives of these characters, their relationships and agendas are soon to be interwined with shadows from the past which begun to form in the corners of the Maguuma Jungle. The trip ahead promises to be an exciting one!

With all the number crunching and theory crafting out of the way in the first part of this two-part series we can jump straight to the build here. I have used another armor set (Apothecary's instead of Cleric's), enhanced with different Runes (Monk's instead of Dwayna's). Similarly, the trinkets are also dissimilar; both changes aim to compensate for some weaknesses the Elementalist has as compared to the Guardian.

It's this time of the year once again. The MS Toga Party is going to take place tomorrow (Saturday, April 19) at 7pm UK time to support all those people affected by Multiple Sclerosis and raise awareness towards the disease. Gamers Giving Back are putting all of their effort to help those in need by hosting various charity events and this is one of those.

The event itself is going to be held both in the original Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2, with lots of activities planned for those present to take part in. So, be sure to be there, support the cause and enjoy your time spent with your fellow players.

Tyria has changed, I can feel it in the air, I can taste it in the water. After the victory over Zhaitan, nature’s elements had calmed down for a while but as it appears, this didn’t last long. I sense the earth tremble, the air crushing me as it engulfs me in its frozen embrace. The water in the rivers and lakes has a sickening taste. The energy that nurtures life on this world, is burning my insides. Every now and then a dark force jumps up from the abyss to haunt me and each time I look in its depths it instills its darkness inside me, slowly filling me with hatred and repulsion. It is as if my own soul gradually fades and I’m left hollow inside, leaving me a mere shadow of my former self. A ghost wandering in the darkness.

I’d like to keep this announcement short.

That is, most of all, because I’m the kind of person that tends to get rather emotional when the time comes for farewells.

Dragon Season’s staff came together a couple of days ago to discuss our future plans. The decision was mutual. We resolved to move the guild back to Guild Wars 1 and repurpose our fan site so that it caters more to the needs of those that deal with the first title of the franchise.
