In this past month ArenaNet introduced us to a new, special feature of
the game - the much talked about Guild Missions. Up until now, the only
type I've had the chance to play with my guild was the Guild Bounty. In
this article I decided to write about possible improvements to this. The
whole concept of Guild Bounty has quite interesting foundations,
however I believe it is still in its infant stages. Nevertheless I am
pretty certain that ArenaNet has plans to develop it further into
something which will be much more fun to play. The secret lies in the
word they themselves added in the MMO world: "dynamic". In much the same
manner an event unfolds - for instance: a group of Centaurs attacks an
outpost and conquers it, should you fail to drive them off - so could a
Guild Bounty progress. How would that work, you ask? Let us present the
story of Prisoner 1141 and see what could come out of it.

I was born from Grenth’s wrathful tear and a curse. On a wintry moonless
night, blanketed by fierce darkness. Four days and five nights went by
and no soul came to pick me up. Until a witch passed by and reluctantly
willed to feed me. She initiated me to magic, the black kind. To quench
my thirst with blood, to steal lives and harvest souls. Nature’s sullen
force I hold in my hands and the borders of your fear, I possess.
I took my first steps in magic treading on corpses and powerful symbols.
I learned to harness the plague and summon minions. Until one night,
as I was performing a blood ritual, my father Grenth visited to offer me
the gift of lich form. He even endowed me with a light armored cloak,
which drapes my body up to this day.

The following text incorporates information extracted from the original Guild Wars 2 books, Edge of Destiny and Ghosts of Ascalon. It is intended as a synopsis of what we know so far about the Elder Dragons, and a preface of what may possibly be revealed to us in the coming expansions. If you have not read these books and do not wish to have the game’s mystery spoiled for you, please read no further.
In the year 1120 A.E., the first of the Elder Dragons, Primordus,
was awakened. The fiercest of them all, as was clearly evident by the
seer magnitude of the catastrophe he brought upon the continent of Tyria. Since the moment of his awakening he has remained burried under the surface, into the very Depths of Tyria, wrecking havoc to the land above. Extensive underground areas, home to many races like the skritt
, were destroyed, forcing their inhabitants to abandon the Depths and
relocate their surviving numbers to the surface of the land. His
minions, called destroyers, flooded Tyria’s bowels, obliterating all hope for the asura to ever return to their natural birthplace.

I rised from my sweet nightmares and got up, full of dark energy, ready for a new night. I went to the bath and threw some water on my face, to wash away the sleepiness. I looked in the mirror and saw the Abyss in my black eyes. My long brunette hair seemed less in the reflection, as a sign of my real age, and the color of silver was now populating my beard.
I felt incredibly hungry, as if no blood was running in my veins and my soul was fading away. I wore my black, medieval mantle and grabbed my huge scythe. I left my tower and went down towards the dungeons of Divinity’s Reach.

The elite skills are the most powerful abilities of the professions in Guild Wars 2. They are a barometer, when used in battle. It is the strongest card of every profession and therefore, it should be balanced. Below we analyze the already known elite skills for each profession, however we are aware that there's much more that hasn't been announced yet.
As of now, there are three categories of capacity among the elite skills of the professions. In the first category are the Necromancer, the Elementalist and the Warrior, who use the elite skills to assemble powerful abilities that replace those in the weapon bar. Immediately after follow the Engineer, the Ranger and the Thief who acquire offensive and defensive skills. The Guardian comes last and buried under an avalanche, with a single ability to protect.

Tyria, a world at constant war. 250 years have passed since the defeat of the Great Destroyer and the terror is still present. The elder dragons have awakened. An enemy, aeons old, that possesses the power to destroy entire continents.
There is still hope on the horizon though, as the races of Tyria unite against this common enemy. They may not have the same culture nor some identical look, but the battle against the Dragons will keep away any hostilities between them, if the world is to be saved. New heroes rise up and fight to give the world one last chance.
